Gateway Church is an exciting community of believers seeking to represent Jesus well in our city.
When you visit Gateway Church you will find the atmosphere to be warm, relaxed and casual. The music is relevant and uplifting and the messages are designed to help you deal with real life.
To make it easier for parents to feel comfortable as they explore their faith we have a well-staffed nursery and a safe, high quality children's program.
Our desire is to be a place where people can be themselves as they explore the Christian faith and one of our greatest goals is to be a community where people can become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
What We Believe
We believe in one God, who is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of anyone who puts their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe Jesus is the living Son of God. We believe that those who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord's Spirit. We believe in the Bible and seek to establish our faith and actions on its teachings. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and that the purpose of the church is to tell the world about Christ through its worship, witness and loving deeds.
Gateway Church is a part of the Wesleyan denomination. If you would like more information about the Wesleyan Church go to www.wesleyan.org
About Us

Our Vision:
Our vision is to be a church that is actively reaching St. Charles County for Jesus Christ through consistently planting new congregations, by seeing people come to know Jesus Christ as Lord on a weekly basis and by discipling believers through a network of small groups that enable us to minister to one another's needs as we encourage and build each other up in Christ, and by identifying and meeting the needs of our community in a way that shows them the love of Jesus Christ.
Our Strategy:
-
To celebrate the presence of Christ through inspirational, relevant worship services.
-
To minister to St. Charles County by meeting the perceived needs of those in our community with the resources we have at our disposal, including time, finances, and personnel.
-
To involve every member of SPWC in a ministry that fits the S.H.A.P.E. God has given them so that they are fulfilled as they fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
-
To move every member towards spiritual maturity by providing opportunities for growth such as Sunday School, our discipleship classes and small group ministries.
-
To practice life style evangelism by training and encouraging our members to live their faith in a contagious manner at home, at work, and in every area of society where they operate.
-
To develop our congregation so that it is able to reproduce itself by planting new churches on a consistent basis.
